The problem
Concept Conversions manufactures specialist insulation products for fire, acoustic and thermal applications. Their production process involves bonding a variety of facings to stone wool insulation, requiring adhesive systems that can support reliable bonding, product quality and efficient manufacturing.
The business needed to meet specific industry regulations and ensure the products used within its manufacturing process supported compliance. This meant reviewing existing adhesive methods and moving towards safer, more suitable bonding solutions.

As production demands increased, Adkwik supplied additional equipment on a long-term hire basis, allowing Concept Conversions to scale quickly without heavy upfront investment in new machinery.
Adkwik also helped refine the adhesive application process by introducing a specialised nozzle that provided a wider spread of adhesive. This improved coverage and made the system more suitable for the products being manufactured.
