We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join our growing team full time. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and wants to play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring stock is managed efficiently, customer orders are processed accurately, and goods are received and dispatched safely. You will work closely with colleagues across the warehouse, purchasing, customer service, and sales teams to help deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What will you be doing for us?

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Use carrier booking systems to arrange collections and shipments.
• Load vehicles and trucks safely and efficiently for despatch.
• Unload supplier deliveries and inspect goods upon arrival.
• Operate forklift trucks safely to load, unload, move, and store stock throughout the warehouse.
• Transport pallets and products between warehouse locations using material handling equipment.
• Check in and process purchase orders, ensuring stock records remain accurate.
• Put away stock into the correct warehouse locations following company procedures.
• Carry out regular stock counts and inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders with suppliers when inventory is running low.
• Label customer-specific products in line with individual customer requirements.
• Pack down and decant products into smaller containers where required.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report any forklift or warehouse equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
• Follow all warehouse health and safety procedures, ensuring safe operation of vehicles and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and customer service.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or distribution environment.
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (or previous forklift operating experience).
• Confidence operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Experience using warehouse management systems, stock control software, or carrier booking systems.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience handling stock, goods-in, and goods-out processes.
• A strong awareness of health and safety procedures within a warehouse environment.
• A positive, reliable, and hardworking approach to work.
