The legend flies again!
Adkwik are proud to have supplied specialist adhesives to get the Lancaster Bomber back into the sky. The Avro Lancaster is the most famous and successful RAF heavy bomber of World War Two. 75 years on, this ‘legend’ of an aircraft can still be seen in the skies above Britain.
We were recently approached by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight team to specify and supply adhesive for bonding cork packing strip onto metal straps that secure the 6 fuel tanks on this 75 year aircraft.
We are proud that we have been able to work on this project and supply the ideal products for the application.
