The B4 has been specifically designed to suit manual and “low-cost” automatic applications. Precisely the unit will melt adhesive at a maximum rate of 6kg per hour.

It has two pump styles with convenient adjustment. 

There are two pump styles to choose from – the Gear pump and the Piston pump.

Gear pump: The gear pump version has a maximum pumping rate of 6kg per hour and a pressure relief valve to ensure smooth adhesive delivery. The relief valve is easily adjusted from the outside of the melter. 

Piston pump: The piston pump version has a maximum pumping rate of 65kg per hour. Again, the pressure regulator and gauge are accessible from the outside of the machine allowing for easy adjustment.

It has excellent temperature control that’s smooth and easy to operate.

The B4 provides precise temperature control from 40°C to 200°C, with an accuracy of ± 0.5°C.

The electronic control of the B4 has been developed using the tested and tried design principles of all new Meler products.

The B4 also has two hydraulic (industry standard 9/16 JIC) and electrical hose connections (available in the compatible form of PT100 or Ni120) to the rear of the unit.

The B4 gear unit has a simple stop/start switch for the motor and an external electrical input for automatically starting the pump motor by the main machine.
