Prefere 5689 is a fast setting powder hardener which is mixed with Prefere 4152 and can be used for many wood bonding applications in the furniture and woodworking industry, including veneering, laminating and jointing applications. Prefere 5689 can be cured under ambient conditions, with hot press facilities and with radio frequency machinery. When required extenders can be added to the adhesive mix to counteract adhesive penetration through the decorative veneers.
