We understand the importance of keeping our economy going during this crisis. Sooner or later you may be heading back to work, but with that in mind its crucial to plan your return to work. A plan is not only for the safety and wellbeing of all your staff, but also ensures your business can get back up and running as efficiently and effectively as possible.
The government have advised ‘that wherever possible, people should work at home’, but we know that for many in your industry it is not possible to work from home. The Governments letter to the construction Industry states “people working in construction their job requires them to travel to their place of work, and they can continue to do so” as mentioned in our previous blog here.
To help you through these challenging times we have put together 5 key things to consider before returning to work.

- All principles of social distancing must be followed when travelling to and from work, and while at work
- Ensure you set out your workshop and production facility with social distancing in mind
- Carefully plan how many people can be in your workshop at any one time whilst remaining at the recommended distance.
- Set up shifts to maximise production in a working day.

- Contact your timber suppliers now to ensure they have plenty of stock for your upcoming requirements.
- There may be products that you require in PPE and Cleaning that you haven’t ordered before, contact us here at Adkwik, so we can point in the right direction.
