At Adkwik, we’re committed to bringing businesses the most efficient, cost and time-effective products and developments in the adhesive and abrasive industry.
For this reason, we’ve decided to highlight the best hot melt adhesive melter we know you can trust.
Let’s delve into the many advantages of the impressive Meler B4 Hot Melt Adhesive Melter Machine Kit and examine how it can improve your work.
The Meler B4 is one of the best hot-melt machinery systems on the market, designed for fuss-free, manual or industrial automatic applications.
One of the main features of this product is the pneumatic unit pump, which ensures that the pressure of the hot melt adhesive stays even and does not fluctuate.
Best of all, it’s compatible with either PT100 or Ni120 temperature sensors and can therefore replace most hot melt equipment on the market.
To see how efficient and cost-effective a hot melt machine can be, look to our ‘How to use Timbond H509 Hotmelt’ demonstration video.
Additionally, you can see the Meler B4 make an appearance at the 0:45 mark of our ‘Go-Pak UK Ltd Case Study’ video. This can help give a sense of the size and scale of the machine.

Adkwik only sources quality machines that can be relied on. We recommend the Meler B4, which goes above and beyond the regular hot adhesive melter.
It’s adaptable, easily regulated and produces dependable results time and time again.
Read on for further information on why you should invest in or enquire to hire this powerful machine.
The B4 has been specifically designed to suit manual and “low-cost” automatic applications. Precisely the unit will melt adhesive at a maximum rate of 6kg per hour.
There are two pump styles to choose from – the Gear pump and the Piston pump.
Gear pump: The gear pump version has a maximum pumping rate of 6kg per hour and a pressure relief valve to ensure smooth adhesive delivery. The relief valve is easily adjusted from the outside of the melter.
Piston pump: The piston pump version has a maximum pumping rate of 65kg per hour. Again, the pressure regulator and gauge are accessible from the outside of the machine allowing for easy adjustment.
The B4 provides precise temperature control from 40°C to 200°C, with an accuracy of ± 0.5°C.
The electronic control of the B4 has been developed using the tested and tried design principles of all new Meler products.
The B4 also has two hydraulic (industry standard 9/16 JIC) and electrical hose connections (available in the compatible form of PT100 or Ni120) to the rear of the unit.
The tank has a large lid for loading adhesive and a filter and drain valve for easy maintenance. Inside the tank is a substantial surface area which gives an optimal melting rate.
See below for a clear diagram of the Meler B4’s dimensions.

The B4 gear unit has a simple stop/start switch for the motor and an external electrical input for automatically starting the pump motor by the main machine.
The most striking feature of the Meler B4 is that it is designed to work with either PT100 or Ni120 temperature sensors and can therefore replace most hot melt equipment on the market. You can do it all with this machine.
