Here’s what not to do, when using spray adhesives:

1. Don’t close the thumb screw off when the hose and gun is connected, otherwise, the glue will cure in the hose.
2. Don’t overapply adhesive, too much glue doesn’t improve the bond.
3. Don’t bring the two substrates together immediately after spraying the glue. This will trap solvent and cause delamination.
4. Don’t use conventional general purpose spray adhesive for bonding polystyrene, we have an alternative for this.
5. Don’t leave the gun and hose off the canister.

Here’s what you should do, when using spray adhesives:

1. Spray adhesive evenly.
2. Hold the gun about 15-20 cm from the substrate being sprayed.
3. Leave sprayed up substrates apart for 4-6 mins*.
4. Use a laminating roller to ensure all areas have bonded together.
5. Keep the gun tip clean with cleaner, to prevent clogging.
